Last week, I attended a lecture by Trevor Paglan, the social scientists, artist, and writer. Paglan dedicates his time to exploring the secrets of the U.S. military and intelligence agencies. It was a really interesting lecture about his work and the medium of photography, and it further enforced my view that the government is up to some shady business. It may be hard to understand the photographs without a proper artist statement, but amongst the photographs below include pictures of classified U.S. military and intelligence satellites and spacecraft, photos of secret military bases that are considered blank spots on the map, photos of military owned planes that have no official record of ever taking off and landing but are used to fly to secret facilities, and lists of covert projects. His website and subject matter are super interesting and would definitely recommend checking it out!
