The Avian Orchestra starts 2010 with an NYC concert celebrating the release of our newest recording, Fantastic Music for a Fabulous Time.
The group will cut loose with a hard hitting set of chamber music inspired by the world of rock-and-roll. Come hear a great evening of new music with some er...well...fantastic performances, and pick up a copy of the new CD!

The program includes:
• Cable Ready - Michael Gandolfi's virtuosic trio quoting Bach, Brahms, bebop, and the blues
• I Wish They All Could Be... - Conrad Cummings' Beach Boys solo piano fantasy
• Fantastic Music for a Fabulous Time - Peter Flint's full band homage to musical excess.
• Smoke n' Wid - Richard Belcastro's slamming quartet for guitar and chamber power trio;
• The Vinyl Six - Jonathan Newman's tribute to the power ballad
• Swells - David Laganella's deconstruction of California surf guitar music
